The system provides form, support, stability, and movement to the body and any disorders to this system can lead to pain and discomfort.

A few common disorders are mentioned below

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA): Rheumatoid arthritis is a long term, progressive and disabling autoimmune disease. This systemic disease causes inflammation, swelling and pain in and around joints and other body parts. The most common systems for RA is joint pain, joint swelling, warmth and redness and stiffness, especially after sitting for prolonged time.

Fibromyalgia: Fibromyalgia is a chronic disorder characterized by wide spread pain in the bodies soft tissues that is often accompanied by fatigue, depression, insomnia, digestive and urinary problems.

Spondylitis:

Sciatica: Sciatica is the name given to the pain associated with the sciatica nerve which runs from the hips to the feet. Hence the pain is cause due to compression of this nerve in the lower spine. Sciatica pain is characterized as the stabbing pain in the back of the legs, feet and toes. Additionally, it can also be described as tingling numb feeling in the back of the feet.

Gout: Gout is a form of inflammatory arthritis that develops in people with high levels of uric acid, which can form needle like crystals in joints and cause sudden severe episodes of pain, tenderness, redness, warmth and swelling.

Joint Pain: Joint pain is a very common problem affecting any o the ligaments and tendons surrounding the joints. Depending on the injury, the ligament, cartilage and bones within the joints may also get affected. There are many possible causes of joint pains, but usually a result of injury or arthritis. The most common symptoms for joint pain are knee pain, inflammation in the joint lining and stiffness and bruising.
