General Description : The skin is the body’s largest organ and is the most sensitive part of human body which is constantly exposed to environment and prone to disorders. Skin problems are common. 20-30 per cent of us have a skin problem which deserves medical attention, but that most of us do not see doctors about them, preferring to treat them ourselves.

Acne: Acne is a very common skin disorder that affects the oil glands and hair follicles, sometimes the hair, sebum and skin cells clump together forming a plug. And if this plug gets affected by an infection like bacteria then it would result in painful pimples. The most common symptoms for acne include, painful, pus filled lumps beneath the surface of the skin, small red, tender bumps and black heads.
Psoriasis: Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition that is caused due to overactive immune system resulting in red, itchy and sore patches. Psoriasis often develops in the elbow, feet, knees, scalp and feet.
Eczema: Eczema is a common skin condition also known as atopic dermatitis and it is characterized by dry and itchy skin inside the elbows, behind the knees and on the hands and feet. It is a non-contagious skin inflammation caused due to allergies to certain food and allergens.
Urticaria: Urticaria is also known as welts or hives, it is a vascular reaction of the skin. It is characterized by slightly elevated papules that can turn into an itchy, red rash. This rash will start off in one part of the body and if accurate precautionary measures aren’t taken it has the tendency to spread to large areas of the body.
Atopic Dermatitis: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic, inflammatory skin disease which may start at an early age. Atopic dermatitis can be characterized with itchy, red rashes on the back of neck, and knees and in the creases of the elbows. In certain conditions, these rashes can bubble up and can weep clear fluid.
Litchen Planus (LP): Lichen Planus is a rare, chronic, inflammatory autoimmune skin and mucous membrane disease. LP most commonly presents as itchy, skin, reddish-purple lesions on the skin and whitish lesions in the mouth or lips. Moreover, LP can also be present in nails, scalp and even the genital areas.
Vitiligo: Vitiligo is a skin condition in which the loss in melanin – which is the pigment in the skin responsible for the skin pigmentation. Hence the destruction in that pigment will result in the skin to appear white. The most common symptom presented for vitiligo is the appearance of irregular white patches of various degrees of depigmentation on the body.
